KansasFest: a community united in passion, learning, and respect for the Apple ][
For over three decades, KansasFest has brought together enthusiasts, experts, and newcomers alike to celebrate the legacy of Apple II computing. More than just a gathering, KansasFest is a community—one built on a foundation of learning, fun, respect, and collaboration. We take great pride in fostering a safe and welcoming environment where attendees can share their passion, exchange knowledge, and build lasting friendships.
KansasFest is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone. This commitment is outlined in our Code of Conduct, which ensures that all attendees can fully enjoy the event in a positive and respectful atmosphere.
A new venue, the same KansasFest tradition
KansasFest has always evolved to meet the needs of our diverse community, and 2025 marks a new chapter with our move to Wichita State University. This new venue offers modern facilities at a lower cost, and improved access to a major airport, ensuring that KansasFest remains a welcoming and accessible event for all.
Join us in keeping the tradition alive
KansasFest thrives because of the passionate individuals who come together from all over the world to celebrate and preserve the Apple II legacy. Whether you are a longtime attendee or joining us for the first time, we invite you to register, participate, and be part of this extraordinary tradition.
We understand that change can be challenging, and some may feel nostalgia for our previous locations. However, this decision was made with the best interests of our attendees and the long-term sustainability of KansasFest in mind. For more details about the transition, what to expect, and how we’re creating a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees, please visit our comprehensive FAQ. If this transition does not meet expectations, we remain open to re-evaluating our options for future years.
Please join us July 15-20 for KansasFest 2025.
Registration and the “call for sessions” both open April 1.
Apple II Forever!
