Why I Left My First Love – The Sordid Tale of a Fickle Apple II User

The first microcomputer I ever encountered was the Apple II, and it was love at first sight. However, throughout the following years, my computing experience brought me in and out of the Apple II world. This presentation explores my personal history with the Apple II – and why I flirted with other 8-bit computers, eventually settling on the competition for my own home computer. I’ll also cover why the Apple II remains near and dear to my heart, and how I see it fitting into my vintage computer experience into the future.
